The Common Ministerial Decision concerning the extension of the suspension of the Land Registries was published in the Greek Government Gazette.
The decision consists of the following:
1. Temporary partial ban on local land registries as well as the land registries of Rhodes, Kos-Leros, the land registries of Piraeus, Thessaloniki, as well as the land registries and branches of the Greek National Land Registry, for preventive public health reasons, from 3.4.2020 to 10.4.2020, as stated in the National Public Health Commission’s recommendation dated 31.3.2020 against the COVID-19 coronavirus and consists of the following:
Suspension of:
(a) all types of transactions, including the inspection of records;
(b) any deadline for the transcription, registration, registration of applications and transactions or the receipt of certificates and copies; and
(c) the statute of limitation period for any related claim.
2. The above mentioned suspension does not apply for the administrative functions of local land registries, as well as the land registries of Rhodes, Kos-Leros, the land registries of Piraeus, Thessaloniki, as well as the land registries and branches of the Greek National Land Registry.
