If you are a property owner in the areas of the Regional Unit of MAGNESIA – region of THESSALY (below you will find the areas in detail), the 22nd of October is the start date of the publication of the Land Registry data.
Until the 22nd of December 2020, (or 22nd of February 2021 if you are a resident abroad) and only after you have updated your contact details on the webpage www.ktimatologio.gr, you can check and confirm or correct the registration of your property, thus avoiding any court settlements that cost time, money and hassle. Specifically you should check:
• The description and legal information of your property (Land Registry Table)
• The boundaries of your properties/fields (Land Registry Chart)
If you agree with the published information, you do not need to take any further action.
If you do not agree with any of the information, you can submit online a request for correction (until the 22nd of December 2020 – or 22nd of February 2021 if you are a resident abroad).
In case you have not yet declared your property at the National Land Registry, you still have the opportunity to do it.
ATTENTION: If you have raised an official objection against the maps of forestry (due to the fact that part of your property was declared as a forest) be aware that these objections have not been included in this publication and thus your property is not attributed to you. (the uncertified forest map is not taken into account)
Therefore, you should file an official objection for your Coded Property for the remaining part of your property that is not shown as yours but is attributed to the Hellenic State or the Municipalities due to the presumption of forestry. This applies also even in the case where a field was forested and the Hellenic State or the Municipalities cannot claim ownership of your property. Crucial time for attributing the term forest is the time when Thessaly became part of the Hellenic State in 1881 (i.e. if your property during that time was a forest or in the case where a field was forested and the Hellenic State or the Municipalities cannot claim any right on your property since by 1945 your property is shown as a field)
